  Torture chairs! All 3 of my kids had horrible experiences. The hygienists were rough with them and not kid friendly at all. Took x-rays without telling me they weren't covered. Then I was expected to pay for 3 sets of x-rays on my way out. I only went there because it was the only place that took our insurance. Inept dentists. I was told they are all right out of school and were there because they couldn't get jobs anywhere else. This is gossip, but I believe it. My daughter had an accident on the playground and lost her two front top teeth. She was bleeding profusely. I brought her in straight from school. They gave her numbing shots but didn't wait for them to take effect before trying to put stitches in her gum. My traumatized child was laying there screaming and they didn't try to calm her down. The dentist struggled to put the stitches in. Not because my daughter was screaming but because she couldn't get them tied. She was at it so long my daughter finally stopped screaming and just lay there gulping sobs. The dentist eventually went for help but no one was available. So she kept at it and amazingly got one stitch tied. By that time the bleeding had stopped and she decided one stitch was enough. We live about 5 minutes away and when I pulled into the driveway my daughter handed me something. The stitch that had just been put in her gum! She had been feeling it with her tongue and it came out. I called and they said she would be ok without stitches. Then why did they just torture my traumatized child for an hour!?!
